Budget Hotels: Accommodations in Dubai is expensive but yet you can find some budget hotels, so the prices start as low as 100 to 150 AED or 25 to 35USD per night for standard twin sharing room.

Mid Range Hotels: If you want bit more comfort then there are plenty of mid range options in Dubai which charge around 300–400 AED (82$-110$) per night.

Luxury Hotels: Dubai has so many 4- to even7- hotels, which starts from 800 and goes up to 2000 AED per night as well.

Food costs

In Dubai you can have the variety of food available, food and restaurants from all over the world can be found here. So, eating out in Dubai is depend greatly on your preferences:

Fast Food: A combo meal in any fast food restaurant will cost from 28 to 35 AED.

Local Eateries: The most affordable dining option in Dubai is local eateries, there are many local eateries especially in the area of Deira and Bur Dubai which will cost you around 18 to 40 AED.

Mid Range Restaurants: Mid range restaurants can be found everywhere in Dubai, from streets to Malls, which cost you around 40 to 50 AED with a carbonated drink.

Fine Dining: High dining experiences have lot of options, starting from 200 AED per person mostly and going up according to the standard of the restaurant.

Mostly I prefer to eat fast food during Traveling, as this is not very expensive and the ambience of the Restaurants are good.

Transportation costs

Getting around in Dubai is easy and convenient, following are the options:

Metro: One of the world best metro system, Dubai metro is cost effective option with fare ranging from 3 AED to 8.5 AED maximum per person per ride, depending on the distance traveled.

Taxis: Taxis in Dubai has a base fare of 12 AED approximately, and cost of per kilometer is 2.50 AED. Different taxi companies have different rates, but I give you an average fares here.

Buses: Public buses are also available in Dubai, those have various routes which can be found on RTA Dubai website, and fares are almost similar to the Metro.
